Company Description:

Carmeuse Lime & Stone is the largest producer of lime and limestone products in North America, manufacturing and distributing up to 8 million tons per year of finished products. We produce another 25 million tons of high purity chemical limestone and aggregates and 2 million tons of high grade silica sand products. Our 35 manufacturing facilities supply and serve 33 states and provinces in the eastern USA and Canada, and employ over 2,500 employees.

Lime is a highly efficient and cost effective additive in asphalt mixtures. Lime enables reduced rutting, slower age rate, reduced cracking, and excellent anti-stripping qualities.
